Institutes of Islamic Sciences

Every Institute is supervised by the (director of the Institute), and the institutes functions and competences are the following:

• Acting in accordance with establishment laws and according to the rules and regulations issued by the Diwan and the resolutions and recommendations of the Council of the Sultan Qaboos Centre for Islamic Culture.
• Educating a generation of a Muslim Omani youth conscious of the right concepts of Islam, loyal to their homeland and Sultan, according to the adopted curricula and plans.
• Providing students studying in the institute with knowledge based on the principles of Islam.
• Providing an educational learning environment for students.
• Providing all the tools and aids for teachers and learners.
• All other tasks assigned to the institutes in the scope of their competence
